 I chose a neutral yet eye-grabbing theme for my blog. This template stood out to me due to its usability, intuitive navigation, layout, and visually pleasing aesthetics.

The blog’s usability is a key feature. With its clean and simple design, it’s easy for readers to navigate and find the content they’re interested in. The navigation menu allows for effortless exploration of different sections. I wanted to create a blog I could continue to use after this course to share my art and other writing pieces.  

The template’s layout is well-organized, with a focus on readability and visual appeal. I incorporated images to add visual interest to the content. Additionally, the template offers various customization options, allowing me to personalize the look and feel of my blog to better suit my preferences.

Aesthetically, the blog exudes sophistication and professionalism, making it ideal for showcasing my content in a polished manner. The design elements and attention to detail create a visually appealing browsing experience for users.

I was torn between several other template options, including “Dark Academia” and more colorful options.  While all three templates offered clean designs and user-friendly navigation, the final design I chose stood out to me because of its refined aesthetics and attention to detail. The “Dark Academia” template, was visually appealing but lacked some customization options that I desired and was a little too dark and edgy for the aesthetic I was going for.
